This is a bespoke professional mix made to our exacting recipe from one of Europe's leading blenders. It contains 50% composted wood fibre, to open the mix up and get air in to the roots, and a precise blend of 3 different grades of peats to balance drainage and water holding. With added Lime, it is pH balanced to give the optimum growing conditions and with starter fertiliser and a wetting agent, to ensure even water distribution in pots and container, it will get your plants off to a head-start.
On top of that it contains a 6 Month Controlled Release Fertiliser - meaning whatever you grow will get a slow and steady stream of nutrients for 6 Months.
Each bag contains a 40 litres of compost when packed.
Under no circumstances should this compost be confused with cheap bags of low-grade black peats at DIY stores - you will feel the light and fluffy difference yourself, and notice the difference in plant growth quickly. Perfect for pots, baskets and planters for growing any plants.

They never knock to say they are delivering and despite my request to put into enclosed porch, the two boxes were just thrown in front of the garage. As I am disabled, it made it difficult to get out of my front door as I have a high step.
Driver was asked to drop the parcel by the side gate if no reply.
As regards the product, (pro. growing compost) I always use this for growing on plug plants, and filling hanging baskets, as the results are better than ordinary garden centre compost.

Customer services need to carry out what they say. When the plants were a long time coming, I realized they were likely to arrive while I was on holiday, so I asked for them not to despatch the plants until I was back home.This was noted but not carried out. Plants were sent during my holiday period.
Wrong plants were sent
I was sent gazanias in a box marked Cabaret Geraniums. A tray of Begonias had been replaced by petunias. I was told to send them back, I asked about postage costs and was told I would receive a label by email. It never arrived, The man I spoke to seemed very off-hand.
The Crystal Palace Lobelia trays had been stacked directly one on top of the other.The ones on the bottom layer were crushed, and despite trying to nurse them, failed to recover. As a result of the timing of the plant's arrival, I lost quite a lot.
I have always been happy with the service before. The total of my orders was over 150.
I have decided that in future I will purchase my plants locally and I will not be renewing my Club membership.

Very disappointed at the quality of the plants. Not only were they very dehydrated when received but entirely different sizes. One was tall and already in flower. The second was a good three inches smaller and in bud. The third was only half the size of the fist. Very flimsy with a small and fragile stem, and the leaves were very floppy. Luckily, pottinh up immediately and dowsing them in a lot of water, they began to stand up on their own.Product:

I love this compost. Having very heavy clay soil this has transformed my garden. I also use it for tubs and hanging baskets and everything grows beautiful. I asked that the compost should be left at the back gate as I am elderly as well as disabledIt was left on my front doorstep, the courier didn't knock or ring the bell. My neighbour aw it there and came to tell me and very kindly carried it in for me.
Yodel must be the worst courier in business. I really don't know why you use them.
The compost is good but the couriers are abysmal.

I was pleased with the early delivery of the twin compost but I had requested that I receive an email to say which day I would get delivery and also that the package would be left in the back garden. The package arrived on Friday afternoon without notification and left outside my front door in plain view of people passing by.
