Top Tips
Prayer plants do prefer a more humid environment than other houseplants. To increase humidity, stand the pot on a tray of pebbles filled with water.
Care Guide
- Position in a warm room away from cold draughts and radiators.
- The ideal temperature is between 16°C (60°F) and 24°C (75°F).
- Calathea require a bright lightly shaded spot well away from the direct glare of the sun.
- Water freely between spring and autumn, preferably with tepid rainwater and allow the pot to drain well between waterings.
- Feed regularly between March and September, when you see active growth.
