Product Description
A relative of the ever-popular 'Snowdrop', which it closely resembles, this delicate beauty could be the variety you have been looking for.
Also known as the 'Summer Snowflake', this is remarkably tall, and flowers later than you would expect, during March and April.
Gently arching flower stems reach up to 50cm tall, and carry lovely, dainty pendant blooms typically in groups of three to five, but sometimes as many as seven! The beautiful flowers are pure white with a green spot at the end of each petal.
Leucojum prefer to grow in moist and fertile soil, making it a great choice for planting around water margins such as by a pond or stream. It’s also happy in borders and when grown in pots, as it quickly establishes itself and naturalises, increasing your stock.

Top Tips
Lift and divide clumps every few years to stop them becoming overcrowded as they naturalise.
Care Guide
- Plant bulbs at twice the depth of the height of the bulb and four times their width apart. e.g. 2cm tall bulbs need to be planted 4cm below the surface of the ground and 8cm apart.
- Please check the bag for any additional planting instructions.
- They are fine to plant even if a little green growth is showing, they’ll just need a good watering when you plant them, and then only when the soil is dry.
- Leave them in the ground once they die back – they’ll come back bigger and better each year.
- While all the energy that a bulb needs in order to grow is stored in the bulb itself, they will do better if you feed them when in active green growth.
- Plant in moist borders and leave in the ground to naturalise.
- If planted in pots be sure to water frequently and keep moist
