A perennial plant, Oxalis forms a pretty clump of striking, grey-green leaves up to 50cm in width from winter-hardy bulbs. Its leaves are composed of several narrow, heart-shaped leaflets, above which the bright rosy-pink flowers appear in late spring,
The twisting blooms become paler towards the centre, and are marked with a darker purple throat which overall makes a delightful contrast to the clover-like leaves.
Also known as the Chilean oxalis or silver shamrock, this alpine plant looks great in a rock garden or gravel gardens, in a raised bed, trough or alpine display. A non-invasive, non-spreading plant, this easy to grow, fully hardy plant is simple to look after and remains compact, making it ideal for inexperienced or new gardeners.
Fully deserving its coveted RHS Award of Garden Merit, you can be sure that this is a proven garden performer, guaranteed to be suitable for UK gardeners at every level of experience. You can therefore plant this in the garden with confidence, for stunning displays for many years to come.
Supplied as a pack of 10 bulbs ready for planting. Blooms from June-July, H10cm x W50cm.
