Bears Breeches are striking, impactful perennials which produce statuesque spires of immensely pretty purple, white and lilac flowers from May to September. Tough as old boots and very easy to grow, the flowers are weatherproof, so theyll look great whatever the British summer throws at them!
Growing to 1m (3ft) tall, they are perfect for growing in clumps in your garden, or on their own in pots. Plant them now to establish the roots while the weather is warm they'll die back this autumn, and re-emerge next spring with spectacular displays all summer long! Like many herbaceous perennials, they will die back in winter, to re-emerge bigger and better next season.
