Welcome to a rose breeding breakthrough! Babylon Eyes 'Queen Pink' is a deliciously fruity rose and the perfect addition to your summer displays.
This new introduction is the result of years of breeding with Persian roses, and brings with it increased tolerance to extremes of weather, so 'Queen Pink' is sure to thrive - whatever the UK weather throws at it. This means that the stunning open-centred, single blooms will last for longer and you'll get more enjoyment out of them as their colours change.
This compact rose bush flowers with a cocktail of Tutti Frutti colours on one plant with a much less formal rose flower style. Its open centre with its prominent blotch is a magnet for bees, and the ever-changing flower colours provides a long season of interest.
Easy to grow and maintain, Babylon Eyes 'Queen Pink' produces flowers from March/April right into the autumn, and needs no deadheading so is super-easy to maintain!
Because of this (and of course their spectacular, colour changing flowers) it's also the perfect choice for use in pots and containers where the rich display of blooms will hypnotise all who see them!
Supplied as an established plant in a 3L pot, you will get one plant of 'Queen Pink' is a classic berry pink, with darker purple centre eye, which softens to paler pink.

Top Tips
- When pruning, make sure that your secateurs are clean and sharp to prevent squashing stems and introducing disease.
- Add mycorrhizal fungi to the roots when planting to help the plant establish quicker.
Care Guide
- Roses tolerate wide range of soils but thrive in deep, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil, so add plenty of well-rotted manure into the hole if necessary and plant so that the graft union (the swollen area when the stems meet the roots) is around 3cm below soil level. Water well every other day - daily if the weather is hot and dry.
- Established roses can be watered around once a week through spring and summer - more if the weather is hot.
- For best results, feed roses in in late-March/April and again late July.
- Before planting, plunge bare root plants into a bucket of water for half an hour to rehydrate.
- To prune, just remove any dead, dying, damaged and diseased stems and also deadhead regularly.
- Traditionally, you would cut just above a leaf joint with a sloping cut away from the bud, however, this isn't necessary, and don’t worry about pruning too much - roses are very resilient and will grow back.
