These incredible crazy striped two-bicolour roses really area a bit of a freak of nature. caused by what is known as a 'jumping gene', it creates instability in the colour genes of each flower, so it can be either of two colours. This makes each petal and each flower 100% unique, giving a lovely contrasting mix.
You will get one each of 'Oranges & Lemons' - a unique yellow and orange red mix, and 'Raspberry Ripple', a pink and white two tone variety. Interestingly, these are the only 2 colour combinations in roses that this happens to.
Other than their deligthlful mixed colours, they are perfectly normal. Both are good garden Hybrid Tea roses, bearing mildly fragrant large flowers all Summer and into Autumn in flushes. Great in the garden border, or big pots.
