A breakthrough in buddleia breeding, the Buzz series are perfectly formed, patio butterfly bushes, and perfect for growing on your decking, patio or balcony – so now anyone can grow these fragrant beauties.
The result of seven years' intensive breeding and selection, the short stems and compact growing habit of these patio buddleias make them ideal for growing in smaller spaces. Flowering right through the summer and into autumn without setting seed, more of the plant's energy is spent of blooms, so the flowers just keep on coming!
Reaching just over a metre tall, these pretty, compact plants won't take over your garden either. Like all buddleias, the Buzz series are sweetly fragranced and are loved by insects hence their common name of 'Butterfly Bush', and their recommendation as a plant that is 'Perfect for Pollinators' by the RHS.
These dwarf buddleias are hardy and easy to grow plus their masses of brightly coloured, fragrant flowers that will attract clouds of butterflies to your garden.
Supplied as 3 x 9cm potted plants, 1 each of pink, white and blue, ready for planting straight out.

Care Guide
Planting Advice for your Buzz Buddleia:
- Plant Buddleia in garden borders in any moist, well drained garden soil, in full sun or semi-shade.
- The 'Buzz' series are also ideal in patio containers using soil-based compost such as John Innes No.3.
Water your potted plant well. - Dig a hole a little deeper and 3 x wider than the nursery pot.
- Add a soil conditioner such as well-rotted manure to the earth removed from the hole if necessary.
- Remove the plant from its pot and tease out a few of the roots.
- Dig a planting hole and sprinkle mycorrhizal fungi (Rootgrow) into the base.
- Place your plant in the hole at the same level at the pot.
- Refill the hole with the earth removed (backfilling).
- Firm in the soil with your heel, avoiding the root ball.
- Water well and mulch around the base of the plant with a collar, compost, gravel, bark etc.
Aftercare Advice for Buddleia Buzz:
- Drought tolerant once established, keep plants well-watered in their first year.
Pruning Advice for Buddleia:
- Prune Buddleia in March, once the hardest frosts are over, as the new growth begins to show.
- Firstly, remove any dead, diseased, damaged, or weak stems, before pruning all off the remaining stems back to form a low framework.
