Euphorbia characias 'Silver Swan' is a variegated form of the cottage garden favourite, with a creamy white edging to the leaves and flowers, giving it a striking, silvered appearance.
Perfect to add height and interest to your garden, this tall, upright perennial forms a striking, evergreen clump that stays looking good right through the winter.
The dainty flowers open through the spring and into early summer and reveal a reddish-orange eye, making the spires of bloom even more appealing.
Suitable for mixed borders it's also quite happy in a large pot so you don't even need a garden to appreciate this exuberant perennial which is also totally winter hardy so perfectly easy to look after.
Be aware that despite its good looks, the sap of euphorbias is toxic, so contact with the skin should be avoided and we advise wearing gloves and long sleeves when handling it.
Supplied as an established plant in a 9cm pot, flowering April - June. Ht 45-60cm (1.5-2ft)
