Product Description
What could be better than the sweet heady fragrance of Daphne in the garden!
Eternal Fragrance's perfumed blooms are produced in abundance from April until October every year. It's a compact and slow growing variety so it is perfect for smaller gardens and this semi-evergreen Daphne produces flowers on new growth, meaning the creamy white blooms just keep on coming right through the summer!
We've grown this superb plant on a little longer than those normally available from other online garden stores, to give you a much better plant for your money.
Grow it in a pot and place on the patio or near a garden path so you enjoy the delightful scent!

Plant Information
Top Tips
Grown for their beautiful and intensely fragrant blooms, Daphnes are best planted near paths and doorways or at the front of borders where it is easy to enjoy their delicious fragrance when in flower.
Care Guide
- Plants will thrive in a sunny or part-shaded location with well-drained soil. They don't like dry roots, so water regularly and deeply.
- Daphne will establish best if planted in the spring when the soil is warm - from March to October.
- Dig a hole twice the width of the root-ball. Sprinkle in a handful of blood, fish and bone and work into the ground.
- If your soil is heavy add plenty of well-rotted compost to the area and dig it in well. Horticultural sand/grit added to the mix is also beneficial.
- Place the plant into the hole, back-filling so that it is at the same depth as was in the pot. Fill around the root ball and firm the soil down gently but firmly and water well.
- Grafted plants should be planted with the join a couple of centimetres below the soil level.
- Where necessary after flowering, lightly trim to remove misplaced branches and maintain a compact habit, otherwise a quick clear-up of fallen leaves will suffice.

Plants looked healthy but much smaller than expected. Long delivery time but they told us this at the beginning.

The order from start to finish was very good, and was updated with emails on delivery.
Product:
Was a bit disappointed with daphne eternal it was not very established in pot and seemed if it had just been put in pot very loose and leaves where a bit yellow. My blue swan seems to be a bit sparse. I had bought one a few years ago from the garden centre for 11.99 which was in a bigger pot and I planted out straight away as it was much bigger, and far more established.

The two plants arrived in a crumpled box with the plants stacked on top of each other and as a result a couple of branches were broken off the bottom plant and the soil from the top one was displaced, however both are saved with TLC. I think the packaging could be better and live plants should not be delivered in a crumpled box.

I am pleased with the sale price but I just feel frustrated when receiving damaged plants. This is not the first time this has occurred and I hope packaging and transportation issues can be rectified.
