This new variety is a female (berry producing) form and is a very prolific berry producer*, so it will bud up and produce masses of rich, red berries in future years. These bushes are slow growing and easy to manage – just one trim a year will keep that standard tree form.

Top Tips
Remember that birds love holly berries and will eat the berries as they ripen. While many people are happy to feed garden wildlife, you may wish to net your bushes if you want to keep the berries on them.
Care Guide
- Hollies need almost no maintenance if you keep them well-watered for the first couple of years to enable them to establish.
- They are more or less trouble-free, with moderately fast growth.
- The more light that your holly receives, the more leaves it will produce, so plant it where it will get maximum light.
- For berry production, it is worth investing in a separate, Male holly tree.

I believe I was mislead by description and images of product. Burried in T&Cs is disclaimer about images being of mature plants. Accepted a small partial refund as cost of return postage prohibitive.Product:
I believe I was mislead by description and images of product on an emailed promotion. Burried in T&Cs on website is a disclaimer about images being of mature plants! What I received was a pair of small trees (about 80cm not 1m as per main description) with tiny, uneven and badly shaped heads. Certainly not worth the 'offer' price I paid.

Just wish the pricing was more consistant as it is very annoying to find the plant you bought is a lot cheaper two weeks later.. it went down for Black Friday but has stayed down. It was also less than I paid about three weeks before I bought them, then they went up to come down for black friday. Very annoying !!Product:

I loved the trees but a little disappointed at the size. They were a little smaller than I expected. However, they both had a lovely show of berries and although I think they are too small to go outside my door this Christmas they should be a lovely size by next Christmas.

I have only given good because I was disappointed that the whole order was packed in a single box with the result that plants were damaged. As large plants it would have been better in two.Product:

One of the Holly bushes was in very poor condition when it arrived. I phoned Garden Bargains and they said that they would send me a replacement. That was 4 weeks ago and I have still not received a replacement. Very disappointing, this was supposed to be a Christmas present for my mum.
