Red Valentine Double Belarina Primrose

From the fabulous British breeding programme of huge, ruffle-flowered Belarina Double Primroses comes ‘Valentine Red' – a sumptuous velvet burgundy-red that is 100% hardy and perennial – so will come back year after year, giving better displays every year.

The brilliant red blooms contrast beautifully with the crisp green leaves, and form perfect buttonhole flowers that herald the return of spring as they burst into a spectacular show of colour throughout the season.

These fabulous, compact plants are smothered in with blousy blooms that create a dazzling burst of cheerful colour in borders, pots and baskets in sun or semi shade – they really are an ideal, easy-to-grow garden plant. In addition, because the magnificent flowers don't set seed, their energy goes into making more blooms and they will flower their socks off for months.
