A well planted basket, bursting to overflowing with healthy, colourful plants makes and impressive sight and we’ve brought together a collection of plant varieties that will work together in perfect harmony to make sure that your hanging baskets are the best around!
We’ve included everything from upright fuchsias for the perfect centrepiece, to blowsy bright petunias, delicate trailing bacopa and the gorgeous foliage of creeping jenny.
Supplied as 12 plug plants, ready to be potted on before being planted out into your garden. You’ll receive 2 each of the following:
Bacopa ‘Snowflake’ – a lovely trailing perennial with small, delicate white flowers and a wonderful alternative to lobelia, growing to 10cm (3in) high and spreading 50cm (1½ft).
Petunia 'Pegasus Purple' - luxurious trumpet shaped magenta blooms, growing to a height and spread of 30cm (1ft).
Petunia 'Pegasus Mixed' – A collection of pink, red, white and yellow flowers reaching a height and spread of 30cm (1ft).
Lysimachia ‘Goldilocks’ – also knows as the ‘Golden Creeping Jenny’, this evergreen perennial has striking, rounded golden foliage and makes a perfect backdrop for flowing plant in baskets, and it also holds an RHS Award of Garden Merit! Growing to just 10cm (3in) hight but trailing to 1m (3ft).
Fuchsia ‘Paula Jane’ – is compact, deciduous bush fuchsia and another Award of Garden Merit holder with gorgeous semi-double flowers in pale and dark rose pink that grows to a height and spread of no more than 50cm (1½ft), the perfect centerpiece for basket planting.
Fuchsia ‘Winston Churchill’ – A bushy upright compact fuchsia and the third Award of Garden Merit holder in this collection of basket plants, with wonderful pink and lavender double flower growing to a height and spread of 50cm (1½ft) and complimenting ‘Paula Jane’ perfectly.
