Growing potatoes couldn’t be simpler - simply plant the tubers into a large 30L heavy duty pot or container, or into the ground, combine with compost, add water and they’re good to grow.

As they’re ideal for growing in pots, these can be grown in the smallest of gardens or patios – you don’t even need a garden.

Varieties included;

• 'Swift' (Early)
  As its name implies, this is a very fast-cropper, usually reaching harvest in 8-9 weeks from planting. Gorgeous, soft new potatoes are produced in abundance.
• 'Charlotte' (Salad)
  Perfect as a new potato, or use in salads, yet keeps well for boiling too.
• 'Desiree' (Maincrop)
  The classic red skinned, yellow fleshed potato that has been a garden winner for decades. Great for boiling or mashing, but we love them best as jacket potatoes, with a lovely crispy skin.
• ‘Maris Peer’ (Second Early)
  Favoured by chefs in restaurants as well as gardeners, they hold their form well and are ideal for roasting, boiling and steaming. Boast beautiful purple flowers on the plants.
• ‘Carlingford’ (Second Early)
  A very reliable late cropper producing heavy tasty new potatoes in abundance. No need for chitting first either – just plant straight away.
