Rosemary:

Rosemary is a classic Mediterranean aromatic shrub, which is renowned for being an essential ingredient of cooking and even some medicines! With its invigorating, spicy flavour, this handsome and impressive plant will not only impress in the kitchen, but will also impress in the garden, when its lovely flowers help attract bees and butterflies. Rosemary is best planted against a warm wall to help it gain extra height. To help keep its shape, trim after flowering has ended. It prefers full sun, and light, well drained soil. Oregano:

Oregano is a gorgeous plant to have included in your herb garden. Great for giving an extra burst of Mediterranean flavour to pasta and pizzas! Hardy and easy to grow, ensure it is planted in full sun, in a light, well drained soil. Ultimate height and spread, 45 x 45cm.

Thyme:

Thyme is a charming and pretty herb, which not only looks great in the garden, but has a wealth of uses in the kitchen. Its aromatic leaves are ideal for using in soups, roast meats, pizza, lasagne and more! To keep the plant compact, trim it back after the flowers have finished. It is fully hardy, prefers full sun, and is best in a light, well drained soil. Ultimate height and spread 30 x 40cm.

Mint:

Mint has fantastic aromatic foliage and an abundance of uses in the kitchen. With its fresh, full taste, it’s ideal for not only savoury dishes, but is also great paired with many desserts! Mint is hardy, and makes for a lovely fragrant, ornamental plant. It prefers full sun or partial shade, and prefers heavy, sandy soil. Ultimate height and spread 100x 100cm.

Clip your plant annual to preserve its shape and to encourage new foliage (which will provide the best flavour and colour). Lavender has many uses in the home as well as the garden.
