Also known as Washingtonia Robusta, this is a strong growing architectural tree which is perfect for injecting a touch of exotic structure to any British garden or patio.
It is a fast growing variety which looks fantastic even when young. It has large, bright green, tropical looking fan shaped leaves and will thrive in full sun.
In terms of care instructions, it is best placed in a sunny, south facing location and should be watered regularly during the summer to keep the soil moist, but not water-logged. It is hardy right down to -5 with minimum protection.
