We are delighted to offer the unique chance to be one of the first in Europe to grow the astonishing ‘Pineberry’. 

Not on wide release to gardeners until Spring 2012, we have plants to sell now, so you will have fruit this Autumn, then year after year.

Just like a strawberry in reverse, the fruit is creamy white on the outside, with red seed-pips! Slightly smaller and rounder than today’s usual strawberries, the fruit has only been available in a very few Waitrose stores for a few weeks, priced at almost £15 per lb.

It’s stronger aroma and flavour have made it a real hit with chefs and taste-testers across Europe, it really is quite distinctive in flavour. Imagine delicious fruit salads, sorbets, or even as a garnish to savoury dishes.

Very easy to grow, it is just like a strawberry to grow and look at. Plant now, for fruit towards the end of Summer. It is very, very hardy, and will crop reliably for 5 years, thrives in full sun or light shade. Feed and water well when flowering and fruit is swelling. You really will be ahead of the game buying this now.
