YOUR 3-VINE MINI-VINYARD COMPRISES OF
Chardonnay
Probably the most famous wine in the world - you CAN grow this in the UK with Consistent yields of 'white' grapes. Grown throughout the wine producing world and used to make famous whites in contrasting styles from Burgundy to Australasia and used to make fine champagnes. A vigorous vine, said to be 'forgiving' as it's so easy to grow.
Pinot Noir
A wonderful 'black' grape and popular with the world's finest wine producers. Forms tight bunches of medium sized black grapes and grows best in
a coolish climate so specifically good for the UK. Lowish yields give a concentrated flavour. Wines are generally lighter with complex raspberry-like taste.
Riesling
This original Riesling great white grape of Germany has been nurtured in France, home of great wines and produces delicious fruit but will make a medium to sweet wine. Wines made from this variety have a floral fragrance and grow well in most soils. Very hardy and resistant to low temperatures, high yielding and deliciously sweet and aromatic to eat when ripe.
