With its deliciously sweet, aromatic flesh the Moorpark Apricot is the most popular variety in the UK. Very hardy and easy to grow, it should be kept in a sheltered spot for best results.
Shop bought, these luxury stoned Super-Fruits are often only eaten as an expensive treat but if you grow them yourself, they cost so little, you can enjoy mouthful after delicious mouthful as often as you like! Apricots have the added benefit of being rich in essential minerals, anti-oxidants and Vitamin A & C, making them healthy as well as tasty.
Each tree is 'self-pollinating' and can be planted out directly into your garden or grown in a pot or tub on your patio. The apricot has been grafted onto dwarfing rootstocks in order to make harvesting quick and easy.
