This Premium Grade professional compost is the perfect mix for planting into your hanging baskets, pots and containers. 

The blend of the compost is as follows:-

  • 20% Pine Bark – makes the blend more open, allowing better drainage when needed, and providing all important air spaces for roots to thrive
  • 10% Humic Compost – which contains beneficial micro-organisms, minerals and slow release trace element. Improves water holding
  • 70% blend of several Baltic white peats, hence its light colour – specially graded for containers.  High water  holding capacity and high air content even when wet
  • 1 kg starter fertiliser including Nitrogen, Phosphate and Potassium

Tref - Best Container Compost ever   Submitted by Janet Parker

I used Tref for the first time last year with the easy fill baskets. The compost does not spill out of the baskets when watering and provided the most fantastic display that went on flowering all summer long. If you havent tried it yet - DO! Its highly recommended. I have ordered again for this year.
