The simple yet effective VegTrug is a brand new innovation in raised bed growing systems that has taken the market by storm!

It's clever design means that you can now grow your own healthy and delicious Fruit, Vegetables, Salads & Herbs in the smallest of spaces - on your patio or even your balcony!

The VegTrug comes in 2 sizes - Medium which is 1m Long and Large which is 2m - both are around 80cm high and 80cm wide making it easy to tend to your crops without bending or stretching.

The great thing about VegTrug is how accessible it makes your soil and plants. There is no back breaking digging involved and no bending over as all your plants are raised off the ground. It couldn't be simpler! Whenever you need fresh vegetables or herbs you can walk to your VegTrug and pick your own home grown goods.

If you've always wanted to grow vegetables, herbs and even fruit but haven't had the space available well now you can. Growing them in a VegTrug means you don't need to disturb your garden. If you only have a paved area or balcony then use the VegTrug and get growing right outside your back door!

Building your VegTrug couldn't be easier. Out of the box, there are just 9 separate pieces to be fitted together and all the holes are pre-drilled. Just follow the diagram supplied with every VegTrug. You will need a Philips screwdriver and an adjustable spanner.

After you have put the VegTrug together, simply place the pre-formed liner into the VegTrug so that the top edge overlaps. Fold the liner over the top edge of the VegTrug and then pull the draw string tight to tighten the liner and hold it in place whilst you fill the VegTrug with compost/soil.

Fill to within 3 or four inches of the top edge. Once the soil is in place, you can release the draw string and tuck the liner down to be level with the soil.

The large (2m) VegTrug will take around 7 (60L) bags of compost/soil and the medium (1m) VegTrug will take around 3.5 (60L) bags.

Your VegTrug is now ready for planting.
